<p>Peterborough City Council (PCC) wishes to appoint a Service Provider for the provision of PRF 628 Provision of Floating support officers to support c.240 clients for Rough Sleepers to cover Emergency Accommodation, Short Term Hostels, Private Rented, Social Tenancies &amp; Supported Accommodation. Contract Scope This is a 9 month contract from 1st July 2021 until 31st March 2022 funded by grant income from the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government, (MHCLG) from the Rough Sleeper Initiative (RSI) funding. Initially this contract will last for 9 months, however there is a possibility that this contract could be extended if further RSI funding is extended and awarded to the Local Authority. The provision of floating support team to support c.240 rough sleepers in the following settings - &bull; Emergency Accommodation &bull; Short term hostels &bull; Private rented and Social tenancies &bull; Supported accommodation Support will be holistic and meet the client's individual needs. It may include: &bull; Negotiation with landlords to any reported issues or concerns &bull; Signposting to other agencies including drug/alcohol/GP support &bull; Ensuring rent is paid directly to the landlord &bull; Setting up of benefits &bull; Setting up of utilities &bull; Keeping up to date records of actions &bull; Reporting back to the co-ordinator issues/concerns/good practice &bull; Liaising with Housing Needs as and when needed The procurement process is being carried out electronically via the ProContract portal.
