<p>Scope.<br />The scope of this &lsquo;Expression of Interest&rsquo; covers the following key requirements:<br />Grounds Maintenance Services in the Midlands.</p>
<p>The provision of these services will relate to works carried out on all Orbit Estates across its property portfolio in the Midlands:</p>
<p>c. 780 estates across the Midlands ranging from Staffordshire down to Bedfordshire and across from Worcestershire to Leicestershire</p>
<p>Potential suppliers whom have the capability to fulfil each of the below key requirements to Orbit&rsquo;s Midlands portfolio, are invited to express their interest:<br />(i)&nbsp;Grass Cutting<br />(ii)&nbsp;Grass edge trimming and defining of edges<br />(iii)&nbsp;Hedge maintenance<br />(iv)&nbsp;Weed and Ivy Control (Shrub beds / planted areas)<br />(v)&nbsp;Weed Control (Hedges)<br />(vi)&nbsp;Shrub / Plant Pruning<br />(vii)&nbsp;Hard surface areas<br />(viii)&nbsp;Gritting / Snow removal / floods / sever weather conditions<br />(ix)&nbsp;Trees &ndash; removal of epicormic and basal growth<br />(x)&nbsp;Leaf clearance<br />(xi)&nbsp;Woodlands Areas<br />(xii)&nbsp;Steep banks<br />(xiii)&nbsp;Grass Crete<br />(xiv)&nbsp;Litter picking / needles / excrement removal</p>
<p>Potential suppliers who respond to the PIN will be invited to a briefing presentation, hosted by Orbit via Teams on 3rd March 2021 from 10:30am until 12pm, where Orbit shall present and discuss in more detail its objectives and requirements and provide the opportunity for interested suppliers to ask questions.</p>
<p>Following the presentation Orbit may issue a questionnaire and or host interviews to explore the market potential to fulfil these requirements.</p>
<p>Responding to this PIN will not automatically lead to invitations to the supplier engagement activities, Orbit specific requirements must be considered when responding.</p>
<p>Currently there is no need to register for the tendering process but responding to the PIN allows the Contracting Authority (Orbit) to keep you continuously informed about the activities relating to appointing a supplier for &lsquo;GM Midlands&rsquo;.</p>
<p>At this current time, it is envisaged that the opportunity will be tendered, by way of subdivision into lots however this in no way guarantees that any subsequent tender will be tendered by way of subdivision into Lots.</p>
<p>Inclusion of any potential supplier in any supplier engagement entails no obligation on the part of the Contracting Authority concerning the award or conclusion of any contract or order.</p>
<p>All &lsquo;Expressions of Interest&rsquo; must be submitted through the Orbit Pro-Contract &lsquo;Housing Procurement Portal&rsquo; (https://www.housingprocurement.com) by fully completing and uploading the document attached to the portal &lsquo;Expression of Interest Response &mdash; GM Midlands Jan 21&rsquo; by no later than 12:00 noon (GMT) on 24 February.
