ESF Ways to Work: Approved Provider Framework (Interview/Work Clothes & Personal Protective Equipmen...
Main contract details
As part of the delivery of the ESF (European Social Fund) Ways to Work Employment Programme, LCC’s Employment and Skills Team is seeking to establish ESF compliant procurement routes to facilitate the purchase of interview / work clothes and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for participants registered on the programme in the Liverpool, Halton and Knowsley areas.
The ESF programme includes a Participant Costs Budget which participants are able to draw upon to buy interview clothes, work clothes or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This budget is used to break down barriers which people face in leaving unemployment and starting work.
To help define and develop our Procurement Strategy and support in the development of our service specification, Liverpool City Council (LCC) are engaging with potential retailers of Interview/Work Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) prior to the release of any official tender documents or requests for quotations.
The aim of this questionnaire is to notify the market of our future plans and to gauge interest in this opportunity with retailers of Interview/Work Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This will support and provide Liverpool City Council with a controlled and a compliant route to market that focusses on added value and innovation.
Once we have engaged with the market and understand the types of Services that are available a full procurement exercise will be conducted. The responses will be used by LCC as part of an information gathering exercise to assist in framing the project and service specification ready for procurement.
No information provided in the response to the soft market testing will be used in any evaluation of any subsequent response to a procurement exercise.
