Main contract details
The primary purpose of this project is to engage and inform the relevant market of prospective opportunities in connection with Richmond Council Commissioning Strategies and Objectives and to assess the level of interest expressed in providing Supported Living and Residential Services for people with learning disabilities in the London Borough of Richmond, (The Council).
The Council is currently exploring potential service models and contracting options offered within the market for these services. To assist with this work, the Council is undertaking a market engagement exercise which will seek views from the market to assist in shaping e the future delivery model in which it will work in partnership with service providers to develop innovative, outcomes-based approaches.

• Has experience in the provision of services to people with learning disabilities
• Is committed to the development of new and innovative practice in this field
• Is driven to improve service quality and efficiencies
• Has an organisational culture that supports collaborative working with commissioners and other providers

The Council is inviting organisations to participate in this two stage market engagement process by registering on the London Tenders portal http://londontenders.org; to express your interest by searching the project by its name: “Delivering the Right Care and Support in the Right Place”. Please download the questionnaire, complete it and submit by 19th September 2016 10 am. A Market day is scheduled for 21st September 2016; further details will be available on the portal.
The estimated time for the formal tender is in January 2017.
The Market Event will take the form of:
1. A presentation on the Council’s commissioning plans for learning disability
2. Feedback on the findings of the questionnaire
3. A workshop to discuss the questionnaire findings and potential service models
Invitations will be sent out to all providers via the Procontract system who submit an expression of interest.
Interested parties should note that the Council may seek further clarification and/or hold discussions with organisations who respond as part of this market testing
