Dorset Accessible Homes Service including Sight and Hearing

<p>Dorset Council is inviting interested service providers of Home Improvement Agencies to a virtual Market Engagement event on 23 February 2022 from 2.00 pm to 3:30 pm.</p>
<p>Dorset Council are currently going through the process of re-procuring our Dorset Accessible Homes Contract, which is due to end on 31^st August 2022. This event seeks to inform interested providers about our plans for a Service Provider to work alongside our Adult Social Care teams and Housing Standards Service staff in delivering our priorities and outcomes for residents of Dorset. There will also be an opportunity for you to feedback on what is presented and comment on existing experience from services you are currently providing. Part of this contract covers our Sensory Impairment Prevention and Support services delivering registration of Visual Impairment, Rehabilitation Officers for Visual Impairment and assessment and equipment provision for hearing impairment. This could be done as an element of subcontracting arrangements.</p>
<p>We are keen for providers within the market to attend, to learn about some of the current work being undertaken that have been developed within Dorset over the last few years. This is also an opportunity for any interested providers to learn about Dorset Council Housing programme and how adaptations and minor works are at the heart of what we are aspiring to do to support people to live independently and remain in their own homes.</p>
