<p>KCS Professional Services, acting for and on behalf of Kent County Council (KCC), wish to create a national, user friendly, time and cost effective Framework Agreement for the supply of Printed Books (fiction, non fiction, curriculum and reference), e-Books, Audio Books and Associated Services. This will be a multi supplier framework.</p>
<p>The Framework Agreement will be split into 7 LOTs:</p>
<p><strong>LOT 1 &ndash; Books- published in the UK</strong></p>
<p>LOT 1 is for the provision of books which are published in the UK and will include fiction and non-fiction books for adults, juniors and children. The solution will offer a range of genres and titles for purchase through a portal or website for delivery. There may be associated services including, but not be limited to; library stocking and related services, training, CD&rsquo;s and DVD&rsquo;s.</p>
<p><strong>LOT 2 &ndash; Books- published outside the UK</strong></p>
<p>LOT 2 is for the provision of books which are published outside the UK and will include fiction and non-fiction books for adults, juniors and children. The solution will offer a range of genres and titles for purchase through a portal or website for delivery. There may be associated services including, but not be limited to; library stocking and related services, training, CD&rsquo;s and DVD&rsquo;s.</p>
<p><strong>LOT 3 &ndash; Curriculum and reference books</strong></p>
<p>LOT 3 is for the provision of curriculum books which will include textbooks, OUP (Oxford University Press) publications, revision guides, dictionaries, reading scheme sets maps and reference materials. This LOT is also for non-educational Customers such as local authority for reference books related to their specific areas of work. They should be able to be purchased through a portal or website for delivery. There may be associated services including, but not be limited to; library stocking and related services, training, CD&rsquo;s and DVD&rsquo;s.</p>
<p><strong>LOT 4</strong>- <strong>Books, curriculum and reference books</strong></p>
<p>LOT 4&nbsp; is for the provision of books published inside and outside the UK and curriculum and reference books.&nbsp; Suppliers awarded to LOT&rsquo;s 1,2,and 3 will automatically be added to LOT 4</p>
<p><strong>LOT 5 &ndash; E-audio books and accessories</strong></p>
<p>LOT 5 is for the provision of audio books and e-audio books for adults, juniors and children. For audiobooks, solutions will offer a range of titles for purchase via a portal or website in a tape, CD, MP3 or any other updated formats which are available. E-audio book solutions will again offer a range of titles via a portal or website for purchase virtually on a range of devices including smartphones, tablets, e-readers and desktop PC&rsquo;s. There may be associated services including, but not be limited to; library stocking and related services, training, CD&rsquo;s and DVD&rsquo;s.</p>
<p><strong>LOT 6 &ndash; E-books and accessories</strong></p>
<p>LOT 6 is for the provision of e- books and accessories for adults, juniors and children. This lot is for digital lending platforms to provide eBook accessibility&nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">&nbsp;</span>Solutions will offer a range of eBook titles via a portal or website, where Customers can &nbsp;purchase content virtually on a range of devices including smart phones, e-readers, tablets and desktop PC&rsquo;s. There may be associated services including, but not be limited to; library stocking and related services, training, CD&rsquo;s and DVD&rsquo;s.</p>
<p><strong>LOT 7 -</strong>&nbsp; <strong>E-audio books, E-books and accessories</strong></p>
<p>LOT 7 is for the provision of e-audio books, e-books and accessories.&nbsp; Suppliers awarded to LOT&rsquo;s 5 and 6 will automatically be added to LOT 7</p>
