Ashford Borough Council seeks a specialist Public Art Consultancy to develop a clear and bespoke Public Art Strategy, relevant for the development of Chilmington, in that it is considerate to its vision, uniqueness and life-span as a development. This consultancy work and strategy will be:
• Informed through strong partnership engagement.
• Responsive to the sites pressing challenges and future tasks.
• Influential in making a positive difference to the distinctiveness and character of Chilmington’s public spaces.
• Informed by existing policy in place such as the Chilmington Area Action Plan, The Design Code, and Chilmington’s Public Green Spaces and Water Environment SPD.

Quotation Return: In order to be considered please ensure your completed brief and assessment along with any relevant supporting documentation is returned to Ashford Borough Council, Customer Services Manager, Customer Contact Centre, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford, Kent TN23 1PL in a plain envelope which does not bear a mark identifying your company, using the label attached.
Tenders must be returned no later than 14:30hrs on 26th June 2017
Contract Award: The contract will be awarded to the contractor who submits the most favourable bid, evaluated 100% quality.
Notes: 1) Please register your interest through the Kent Business Portal - we will use these registration details to inform you of any amendments, or items of clarification during the tender period. However, no further clarification, etc. will be issued later than the 19th June 2017. 2) Please be aware that you need to download the documents attached to this advert and submit your bid by the due date.
