Provision for the Supply & Installation of Roof Covering & Isolated Roof Repairs.

The framework provision for the installation of roofing services for use on repair works on both domestic and commercial properties alongside new construction projects throughout the Doncaster borough. The work involved will consist (but will not be limited to) the striping out, full preparation and installation of the specified products, which will include pitch roofs and flat roofs of various materials and specification.

The advertised opportunity invites detailed proposals from experienced organisations to deliver this contract under a call off agreement for the supply & fit of Roof coverings which will be divided into three lots:

• Lot 1 – Isolated Reactive Repairs
• Lot 2 – Contract Flat Roofing
• Lot 3 – Contract Pitch Roofing

A maximum of 3 suppliers will be awarded against each Lot with The Council reserving the right to call for further competition throughout the life of the framework.

Doncaster Council has developed its Living and Learning Strategy which lays out the corporate plan moving forward. Part of this strategy is the improvement of facilities for both private home owners and Public buildings to allow residents lead more active, healthy lives in a quality environment and for education of children in an environment that promotes active learning. To this end the Council is producing a framework of Roofing suppliers to maintain quality roofing solutions to the premises.

The work required will consist of various roof materials types in various property types and may include but not restricted to:- Schools inc Nursery’s & Academy’s, Private Homes, Public buildings including listed buildings and English heritage properties. The site locations will be constructions projects and or refurbishment works and will include working in occupied public buildings (schools, library, and nursing homes) or occupied tenanted properties.
