P5246 Supplier Briefing for Provision of Training space at the London Fruit and Wool Development

Tower Hamlets Council is providing a rent free space in the heart of Spitalfields for up to 10 years to a training provider to deliver training and employment outcomes for Tower Hamlets residents.
The space will be located in Spitalfields (London) between Brushfield St, Commercial Street, and Whites Row Car Park. The floor space for the facility is 500 square metres (Gross Internal Area), positioned at the lower ground floor of the building with entrance and reception on the ground floor. The duration of the lease is for a maximum of 10 years. The employment and skills training centre will be rent and service charge free; with business rates and insurance of the premises and all other outgoings being the responsibility of the tenant.
We will be looking for the provision of training and job brokerage activities for Tower Hamlets residents. The space is to be used for classroom based delivery and/or training and the chosen provider will be required to become a WorkPath delivery partner. There will be engagement, training and employment outputs to be delivered, through contractual agreement with the Council.
