Swindon Borough Council - Highway Maintenance Term Service Contract 2024 - 2029

Swindon Borough Council have identified areas in the Borough of major and minor work to improve and extend the life of the condition of the assets. Work designs will be issued over the course of the contract.

The initial contract term will be for 60 months with an option to extend for a further 24
months (2 periods of 12 months) for a potential total contract term of 7 years as stated in the
ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is up to £20,000,000 across the initial 5 year
contract term and between £20,000,000 and £28,000,000 across the potential total 7
year contract term.

To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal by 19 April 2024, 1200 hrs UK Local time. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically on the ProContract tender portal.
