Beaminster School - On-site Catering Service

The Governors of Beaminster School invite tenders for the provision of on-site school catering services.

The requirement is for the daily provision of breakfast, break and lunch time meals service for both free and paid meals customers. The service is required Monday to Friday for 38 weeks of the year.

The School Governors of Beaminster School are looking for a partnership arrangement where students and staff are provided with high quality food at attractive prices. The school is keen to promote a healthy lifestyle and this should be reflected in the type of food on offer and the way it is presented. We would also like to work with you to make progress towards achieving the Healthy Schools Award. The catering service should be friendly and responsive and is regarded by the school as an important part of the school community.

The Contractor may also be given the opportunity to cater for hospitality catering at the school such as teacher training days, open evenings, governors meetings and special VIP buffets.

In return for offering the opportunity for the potential six (6) year contract with the elimination of any competing facilities, the School Governors are willing to consider capital investment by the Contractor in the catering facilities, in order to update the current kitchen equipment if the contractor deems this necessary.
