Market Engagement Event Looked after Children and Children Leaving Care Sutton Provider Forum

This event is open to any Provider that has an interest in or is already involved in delivering Children’s residential, fostering and semi-independent accommodation Services with the London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) and wish to be involved in shaping the service delivery going forwards.

If Providers are unable to attend the event then Sutton Council are happy to meet one-to-one. This offer is also open to the those that are also able to attend the event.

The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is holding an event for providers interested in delivering Looked after Children residential, fostering and semi-independent accommodation services.
This event is open to any provider that has an interest in or is already involved in delivering Children’s residential, fostering and semi-independent accommodation Services with Sutton Council and wish to be involved in shaping the service delivery going forwards.
The desired outcomes of this event are:
Providers have a better understanding of Sutton Council, our looked after children population and our priorities going forwards.
Sutton Council has improved understanding of the current market, including the Provider operating, children’s residential, fostering and semi-independent accommodation services.
Using previous experiences and best practice examples, Providers help to shape the future residential, fostering and semi-independent accommodation services going forwards.
Areas to be covered in the event
The event will include an introduction to Sutton Council. This will include a brief introduction to the borough, the council structure, children’s social care and our looked after children population. We will then move on to look at the current looked after children placement issues facing Sutton Council and our priorities going forwards.
The main focus of the event will be to hear back and discuss with the providers present their thoughts, best practice examples, experiences and suggestions and how these can be used to shape Sutton Council’s service delivery going forwards.
