Multi –dimensional intervention for 10 to 18 year olds at the edge of entering care, so that they can safely remain with their families.

Harrow has been successful in securing Big Lottery Life Chances funding to develop a new service through a social impact bond for young people on the edge of care and in care. This innovative and evidence based service delivers multi – dimensional intervention packages to 10 to 18 year olds. We are seeking interested Social Investors and Service Providers to deliver a service through a Social Impact bond comprising of three distinctive interventions: 1). Edge of / Reunification - an intensive 7 day family intervention to support children and young people on the edge of care to remain safely with their families as well as to help young people who have entered care to step down to foster care or return home. 2). Therapeutic Support-Flexible therapeutic and clinical intervention tailored to meet the individual and family’s needs. 3). Digital App – providing 24/7 online access & support that that enables young people and their families to plan, coordinate and accelerate progress towards their goals. The service aims to improve parenting and focuses upon rebuilding positive relationships so that families can manage future crisis situations, delivering long term and sustained impact.

We are holding a Market engagement on Monday 16th April — 9.30am - 3pm in the Council Chambers at Harrow Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2XF. This event will offer an opportunity to hear about the new service, the Council's vision and objectives and outcomes for the Social Impact Bond, the current stage of development and planned process and key proposed contract details.
It will also offer an opportunity for Service Providers to meet Social Impact Bond Investors. Attendance is limited to no more than 2 delegates per organisation.
