Description
The London Borough of Redbridge is rolling out a Trauma Informed Practice (TIP) approach implementing a whole system that will make sustainable changes in the lives of children, young people and families.
Trauma-informed practice incorporates assessment of trauma and trauma symptoms into all routine practice; it also ensures that children, young people and families have access to trauma-focused interventions that treat the consequences of traumatic stress.
The Council is looking for an organisation possessing specialist knowledge and skills needed to support the Head of Safeguarding & Quality Assurance to roll-out and embed the new approach, including:
• Consultation and support during implementation.
• Development of bespoke training packages.
• Development of a Practice Model with staff/ services.
• Support with policy, procedural and practice reviews.

The successful organisation will enter into a contract with the council, commencing on 1stMay 2020, until 31st March 2023.
The competition for the contract will be conducted using Dynamic Purchasing System, run on platform set up by adam htt. Any interested parties should register on www.sproc.net, under Specialist Professional Services category, sub category Social Care: Adults & Children. The minimum requirements to access the competition are as follows:
- Sign up to terms and conditions of DPS
- Upload evidence of financial status such as copy of accounts or bank letter
- Provide details of 3 past contracts for reference
- Upload copies of Employers Liability insurance for £5m (if relevant), Public Liability insurance £5m, Professional Indemnity insurance min £2m
- Upload Data Protection policy

Further information on enrolment can be found on http://demand.sproc.net/clients – London Borough of Waltham Forest – Specialist Professional Services. The requirement will be published on www.sproc.net at the end of February and only the organisations fully enrolled on the portal will be able to submit their proposals. Providers are advised to start enrolment process as soon as possible, as it takes time for enrolments to be reviewed and accepted, after submission of all necessary documents.
