Description
A suitable supplier is sought to assist in the production and distribution of Merseytravel Customer Mailings. This will include communications by post, and digital communications via email and SMS format.
? The scope of works is to cover the transactional print or the electronic production and distribution of Fast Tag Account Statements, personalised Renewal letters and personalised Renewal Application Forms in some instances.
? Flexibility will be required around volumes which vary month on month, and the options around electronic mailing would be welcomed as would other digital communication methods.
? The source data will be supplied via secure email (SFTP) or via secure site download in csv, txt, mail merge in compliance with UK Data Protection Legislation and General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
? The supplier will prepare base templates and sort data for postal distribution or electronic distribution. The despatch of which will be split over several individual cycles throughout the calendar month details of which will be specified by Merseytravel.
? Merseytravel will require confirmation of delivery from each communication method to include volumes of any undelivered mailings (postal and electronic) and the ability to view and download any mailings sent within the last 12 month period, to assist in the event of query and for quality control purposes.
? The supplier will be responsible for the management of base paper stocks and the laser print production of base stationery and machineable window envelopes (return address printed on reverse) along with the design and production of electronic mailing templates and attachments in accordance with Merseytravel’s detailed specification and requirements.
? Merseytravel require regular industry updates and advice in terms of cost efficiency options, print, design and formatting, ink, paper and postal charges and electronic solutions.

Please note that these documents are for information purposes only, to help suppliers decide if the contract is suitable for them before completing a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).
