Richmondshire District Council is a local government district within North Yorkshire, England with a population of 53,700 (Census 2016) . Its Council is based in the town of Richmond but it also includes surrounding towns and villages and areas within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
As the Local Housing Authority for the district, Richmondshire District Council (the Council) has had, since 1990, a Statutory Duty to provide help for major adaptations to disabled persons homes. The works to private properties were delivered through a Home Improvement Agency. However from the 1st of April 2018, the delivery of assisted living adaptations, to private dwellings are being managed directly by the Council.
The Council is seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified providers who can carry out this service. The Council is looking to appoint a pool of suppliers to provide this service.
Tender applications are to be submitted through the ePortal, ProContract.
