Description
<p>Devon County Council currently utilises a gritter tracking system on its winter service vehicle fleet to track, monitor and record gritting activities across the road/cycleway network it has responsibility for within the county of Devon. The current contract is due to expire in April 2023, therefore the Authority is planning to procure a replacement gritter tracking solution in early 2023.</p>
<p>The Authority currently has responsibility for 8000 miles of road and a winter service gritting fleet of 49 vehicles which currently have gritter tracking telemetry installed.</p>
<p>Prior to undertaking any procurement for the new tracking systems the Authority is looking to get some insight and understanding of the current market offerings and emerging/potential future technologies available and would very much like feedback from providers in the marketplace.<span>&nbsp; </span>If your organisation offers gritter tracking solutions we would be extremely grateful if you could assist by completing a short online questionnaire regarding solutions that you offer.<span>&nbsp; </span><span>&nbsp;</span>This process is hoped to assist the Authority in developing their requirements so that they are deliverable, practicable and would open participation to a wide market whilst providing a cost-effective solution for the Authority.<span>&nbsp; </span>Details of how to access the questionnaire are given below.<span>&nbsp; </span></p>
<p>Suppliers who wish to assist in the Authority are requested to express their interest in this opportunity and access the details on how to complete the questionnaire.<span>&nbsp; </span>Please complete and submit the questionnaire by no later than noon on 16th December 2022.</p>
