St Helens Council wants to commission an Integrated Sexual Health Service.
Tender for the provision of an Integrated Sexual Health Service, that will incorporate the integration of the following services:
1. Genito-urinary medicine service (GUM)
2. Contraception and Sexual Health Service (CaSH)
3. Health Improvement / Promotion (including HIV Prevention)
4. Young Peoples Sexual Health Service
St Helens Local Authority is committed to procuring a modern, high-quality, effective sexual health service which will provide robust clinical leadership across the entire sexual health system. The service will be required to demonstrate that it is externally focused and capable of developing strong links with key stakeholders and partner organisations. This will enable the service to provide a holistic, joined up response to people who require support and to identify and respond to vulnerabilities.
Estates - shall be determined through Competitive Tender Process.
Budget - The maximum total budget envelope for this contract is approximately £1,795,445 per annum. For the non-tariff element of the service (CaSH, Health Improvement and Young Peoples Non Clinical Service) is approximately £1,207,525. For the tariff based element of the service (Level 3 GUM), we are currently spending in the region of £0.58 Million, however the tariff based element of the service is dependent on volume. Please note- i) that there is no maximum, minimum or guaranteed payment relating to tariff based activity. Tariff based activity will be regularly monitored by the provider and commissioner. ii)The bidders cost proposals should include all costs of the service except those relating to out of area activity.
Providers are invited to register and review the documentation on The-Chest and submit tenders no later than – 23rd November 2018 @ 12 noon
Please note the Council will only respond to enquiries made via the messaging facility on The-Chest. Deadline for enquiries is 15th November 2018 @ 12 noon
