Description
The Care and Support Framework covers statutory support provision for older people who may have physical needs and conditions as well as support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, sensory impairment, physical disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs.
We are arranging a group market engagement exercise to seek feedback. We hope to get your views:

• What works well currently
• What we need to improve
• Your view on how the council should shape the market over the next few years

The event will take place on the Wednesday 7th August 2024 Between 10am and 4pm (see further details below)
Market Engagement Event for Care and Support Framework Tender. The Council intends to commission Supported living and homecare contracts for adults aged 18+ , Contract to be decided. This will facilitate homecare and Supported living providers and hep delivery of the Council Social Care futures agenda which includes:

• Communities where everyone belongs.
• Living in a place we call home .
• Leading the lives we want to live.
• More resources better used.
• Sharing power as equals


Providers will also be expected to work with other assets within their areas such as community and voluntary sector organisations to further enhance the outcomes they can achieve. The Council is seeking to use the market engagement event to seek views of providers who are on the framework and not on the framework about the way forward. The council want to articulate its aspiration for how we procure quality and the benefits the Council aims to derive from this procurement. The market engagement event will take place on 7th August 2024 and will be held in the Council Chambers at Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham RG40 1BN.

We are limiting attendance to 1 person per organisation. The format of the event will be a presentation from the commissioners and procurement team followed by a Q&A session. Any providers interested in attending the event should contact:

Please note : We will be restricting attendance at this event to those providers who are currently on our framework and those Non framework providers who have a registered office base within 45 minutes of Wokingham Borough Civic offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1BN
