Description
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of consultancy to undertake a review of the town centre regeneration delivery model and the associated resource implications.

Swindon Borough Council (SBC), with the objective of delivering quality town centre regeneration and maximising the benefits and impacts, has created and approved a Town Centre Masterplan.

Town Centre regeneration is at the heart of the Vision for Swindon, as set out in the Council’s priorities, Pledges and projects.

The current delivery structure, funding and governance model has been in place for a number of years and due to a requirement of Cabinet, it is now necessary to undertake a review of this delivery model and the associated resource implications. This will also ensure that the most robust delivery mechanism is in place to realise the strong ambition the Council has to deliver its Town Centre programme.

Full details relating to the consultancy are provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ) documents.

The contract will be initially for a period of 5 weeks commencing 23rd October 2017 with the option to extend for a further one month if required.

The relevant RFQ documents are included within this project webpage as attachments.

RFQ Responses are required to be submitted no later than Friday 13th October 2017 12:00 noon UK Local time by e-mail to pvenables@swindon.gov.uk only.

If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Philippa Venables at pvenables@swindon.gov.uk by Monday 9th October 2017, 12:00 noon UK Local time.

The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.

In the event of difficulties downloading tender documents, please refer to the named contact above.

We would encourage you to click on the ‘Register interest’ button to help the Council monitor the level of interest in this opportunity.

No RFQ submissions will be considered without completing the RFQ documents in full including attachments and returning them in alignment with the instructions within the RFQ documents.
