Newcastle City Council would like to engage with the market regarding the supply of a digital geographic information Site Assessment Tool to assist the Planning service to maintain and update a housing and employment land supply for the City.

The purpose of the engagement is to present some information to the market regarding our digital needs and gather your feedback. All feedback collated will be used to inform our specification and commissioning intentions. It is anticipated that an open tender exercise will be published in Autumn 2023.

We would like to invite all potential providers of this service to an engagement event on Thursday 20 July 2023 from 10.00 – 10:45am. The session will take place virtually online via MS Teams. Please register your attendance at the presentation by emailing Heather Rothwell (heather.rothwell@newcastle.gov.uk).

Following the presentation five 1-2-1 slots are available to organisations allocated on a first come first served basis. These sessions will also be on teams and will allow organisations to discuss or present or demonstrate their responses to the questions included in the presentation document within the 45 minute period.

These slots are as follows –
Session 1 - 11:00 am – 11:45pm
Session 2 – 13:00 pm – 13:45pm
Session 3 - 14:00pm – 14:45pm
Session 4 - 15:00 pm – 15:45pm
Session 5 - 16:00 pm – 16:45pm

Should the above slots be full – suppliers can submit their responses/feedback via the NEPO Portal. All responses will be reviewed and considered in the development of our specification.

Please confirm your attendance at the presentation before 2pm on Tuesday 18 July and a link to the teams presentation will be provided.
Please also let us know if you wish to attend one of the 5 individual sessions, these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If the slots are full, all feedback can be submitted via the NEPO Portal before the closing date.
