Description

We’re inviting you to an information event where you can find out more about the Salford City Partnership’s vision for the provision of Domestic Abuse services in Salford. Are you looking for an innovative opportunity? Do you have a strong track record and relevant knowledge and experience in delivery of Domestic Abuse Services/support for adults, children, young people and families? Expressions of interest are welcomed from partners with the knowledge and values to develop and deliver Domestic Abuse services in a Partnership model across the Salford City Partnership. This information event for potential service providers will provide background information, discuss our joint vision in Salford and explain next steps in the tender process. Background Salford City Council, Greater Manchester Police, and NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group currently have contracts with organisations to deliver Domestic Abuse services across Salford. This includes victim/survivor support for adults and children, specialist services including independent advocacy services, therapeutic support for young people and interventions for perpetrators. Contracts come to an end in March 2022. We are seeking new contracts for an April 2022 start. To participate in the tendering process, providers will need to form a Partnership and will need to nominate a Lead Provider who will bid on behalf of Partnership members. This event will provide opportunities to connect with existing and new providers to support your bid for a collaborative approach to Domestic Abuse commissioning. The services will be Salford based, but organisations do not necessarily need to be based in Salford. We welcome bids from all organisation's delivering services who can meet the criteria mentioned above. At this event, we will be discussing the Salford City Partnership’s Domestic Abuse Commissioning Strategy, and Salford City Council’s Social Value expectations. There will also be a further event to develop understanding of the Salford Social Value approach and what this means for providers involved in this process. We will provide a link for the virtual event, which will take place in the week following the information event. In order to manage numbers of attendees, we would ask that you please limit your attendees to 2 per provider for this event. Date: 20th July 2021 Time: 10am to 12pm Location: via invitation to MS Teams meeting. How to register: Please register your interest through The Chest portal. You will receive an email with the MS Teams link after registration
