Description
Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires the supply of Residential Care Step-down Bed Services for the Discharge Team. The business is split between two Lots. Lot 1: Block booking of residential care home bed services, four beds per annum are anticipated (to be awarded to between 1 - 4 suppliers), & Lot 2 Spot Purchase of bed services (to be awarded to framework min 4 - max. 6 suppliers)
The Services are required for patients that no longer need Acute Hospital Care, however, are unable to return home.
The Trust seeks bids from suitably qualified care home providers in line with the declare specification requirement. Care Homes must be in close proximity to the Hospital Site and bids are therefore sought from Care Homes situated within a 5 mile radius of the hospital.
Bidders can submit offers for either or both Lots as required.
The specification details and level of standards required are set out within the Invitation to Tender documentation, together with guidance with respect to submitting a bid.
