Request for a placement for a 16 year old female who is step down from Secure

<p>Wigan Council are seeking a placement for a 16 year old female who is step down from Secure. She is from Romania speaks Romanian language. She can also speak and understand English. She is to be placed in a residential placement her previous residential placements have broken down due to her behaviours and concerns that staff are unable to keep her safe due to the length she has tried to abscond. She is currently in Secure accommodation and has been educated around Child Sexual Exploitation. This placement can be within the Wigan borough as she has stated she is willing to work with professionals and would like to have a safe placement. She has settled extremely well in her placement and she has started to build up positive relationships with staff members. She is able to understand that her relationship was wrong and she was vulnerable and has been taken advantage of by an adult male, however she is not able to support prosecution of this. She has stopped smoking cannabis and no longer smokes cigarettes. She would like a placement where she is able to build positive relationships with her carers or staff members, where she can access her education and be supported with this. She would also like to be allowed free time in the community to spend with her friends to go to places such as the park o the cinema. She would also like to be able to spend time with her family. She is currently placed in secure accommodation following numerous placement breakdowns and she is continuing to place herself at risk of significant harm. she needs a nurturing environment whereby she is able to settle and be safe. she is currently completing specialist CSE work due to the concerns that she is in a relationship with an older male. She has shared some of her childhood experiences however not everything. She understands that she has been taken advantage off by an older male and can now recognise this was unsafe and that she is not to blame. She is continuing to complete work around healthy and unhealthy relationships. She is attending education within her placement and reports to be enjoying this especially Maths and Art. She responds well to supportive, caring staff who are warm and affectionate towards her but also honest with her. She will continue CSE work when she moves placement with her allocated worker.
