Description

THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION

ONLINE MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT

Leicester City Council is considering commissioning a Participation Service, which will help us to ensure that people drawing on the support of our Adult Social Care services are equal partners and that their lived experiences are a primary consideration when we are planning and designing the support and services that are needed.

For further details regarding this proposed service, please see the attached Project Overview document.

The level of funding and contract duration of this service is yet to be confirmed but it is likely to be in the region of up to £41,000 per annum for an initial period of 2 years with a potential option to extend for a period or periods of up to 2 years (a maximum total contract period of 4 years).

It is anticipated that tenders for the Participation Service will be published in October 2022, with the new contract ready to start with effect from 01/07/2023.

As part of the commissioning process for the Participation Service, the commissioners of this service are keen to hold an Online Market Engagement Event.

The Online Market Engagement Event is being held on Friday 5th August commencing at 10.00 a.m. and is anticipated to end at 11.30 a.m. The event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.

The event will give potential providers and other stakeholders the opportunity to express their interests and feed in their views about the potential service. The commissioners will use the information to appraise options and further develop the specification.

It is anticipated that at this event, commissioners would like to ask your views on the following:

The model for the current Participation Service and how this can be enhanced to facilitate participation across groups of people who draw on Adult Social Care services in Leicester.

How we incorporate diversity into the model to support people with a range of support needs and how we achieve the right outcomes for people accessing the service.

How the model can support the development of the Making it Real Group and ensure that the voices of people with lived experience remain at the heart of the Integrated Care Board as it develops.

The facilitation of online and hybrid participation services during and since the Covid-19 pandemic - what has proved useful in terms of process, approach, support, resource and technology?

The proposed contract length and extension opportunities.

To book a place at this event, please complete the online booking form by no later than 2.00 p.m. on Thursday 4th August 2022 by copying and pasting the following web link into your web browser:
