Description
The London Borough of Redbridge is working in collaboration with a consortium of schools/Trusts to develop a new SEND facility, which is to be used by students in the local area.
The London Borough of Redbridge have recently purchased the Park School for Girls and expect to complete the transfer of the adjacent Barnardo’s Children Centre from its internal portfolio to the Education Department in December.
The sites are located adjacent to one another, on Park Avenue and Granville Road, Ilford, IG1, which are predominantly residential areas, with access to local amenities and public transport links.
Park School for Girls consists of one main building, which has been extended multiple times to accommodate pupil intake. The courtyard of the school consists of the playground space. The site is currently vacant following the recent closure of the school.
