PQQ Reference – CP15-05-411 - Web Services and CRM Management

The States of Jersey are interested in receiving completed pre qualification responses for the following four lots:

Lot 1
24/7/365 support of servers, infrastructure, SharePoint and the Microsoft CRM 4 instance used as the back end of the gov.je/citizen and dvs.gov.je sites
• All aspects of operation and maintenance of the websites in accordance with agreed security and technical standards and to agreed service levels
• Performance monitoring (including availability) and review
• Platform upgrade / migration
• Proactive advice / strategic guidance
• Server monitoring and patching
• Services management, including project management and record keeping
• Support of enterprise search software including tuning and optimisation
• Remediation of vulnerabilities identified by penetration testing and PCI DSS audits


Lot 2
• Website design – public facing websites
• Website development – public facing websites

Lot 3

• Reactive / pro-active application support
• Performance monitoring (including availability) and review
• Platform upgrade / migration
• Proactive advice / strategic guidance
• Server monitoring and patching
• Governance of instances including updates to the framework and documentation
• Management of external suppliers

Lo4 4
We are currently intending to migrate our existing intranet content to a new intranet based on Office 365. This is likely to be an “intranet in a box” product provided by an off-island Microsoft Gold Partner. Both Microsoft and the “intranet in a box” supplier will support their respective products. The “intranet in a box” provider is likely to offer value-added services such as consultancy, configuration and customisation. They are unlikely to provide first-line support to end-users of the system. We believe there is an opportunity for a third-party company to provide this first-line and some second-line support, and to provide independent consultancy, configuration and customisation of the product within the bounds of what is possible with the system without access to the source code. Much of the functionality will be generic, out-of-the box features of Office 365, so companies that already provide services around Office 365 are likely to have the skills needed to supply the services in this Lot.
