Leicester City Council’s invite’s Quotations for the provision of Portacount 8038 Face Fit Machine
LCC are currently using external contractors to provide the Fit2fit service, which is the recognised industry standard. LCC are providing Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) to staff, yet their personal situations may change from time to time and which will necessitate a further test in order to ensure the efficiency of their face piece.
The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1996 require LCC to provide and maintain a safe working environment, so far as is reasonably practicable.

The Authority wishes to ensure that its procurement opportunities are open to small and micro local enterprises and voluntary and community sector organisations as it appreciates the very important role they play in the local economy. Quotations from these organisations are particularly welcomed.

Applicants should note that due to the technicality of the software package being used to create this advert, this Opportunity will become "invisible" at midnight on 13th July 2017; Applicants are therefore requested to save all documentation relating to this Opportunity locally.

Product Demonstration:
Attendance to the Supplier Day (section 1.6 Procurement Timetable) for the product demonstration is a mandatory requirement and will be treated as a Pass/Fail evaluation criterion.
