Description
LMH and LMH Group shave always strived to be “more than just a landlord” since April 2008 we have invested over £400 million in bring our homes up to decent standards and in the last few years we have started to develop new homes. We have an ambitious development programme of 1,000 new homes in the next three years.
Alongside this physical regeneration we are also committed to investing in the people living in our homes. In April 2014 we published a Community Regeneration Strategy which had the following objectives to:-
• Reduce health inequalities
• Give young children the best possible start
• Support our older and vulnerable tenants
• Help those looking to access work and training opportunities including 16-24year olds who are NEET
• Increase digital and financial inclusion.

Project Background

LMH and LMH Groups are looking to achieve the above aims through reinvesting a proportion of its Social Dividend, which is made up of up operating surpluses back into community based regeneration projects.
LMH and LMH Groups has found in some cases young people find it difficult to enter their preferred employment route without a current driving license and this tender seek to appoint a suitably qualified instructor(s) to deliver this service on behalf of LMH and LMH Groups.

Requirements

The principal elements of service are outlined below:

• The supply of services will be required in Liverpool City Region which includes, Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, Halton and Wirral
• The current activity levels may vary over time and the Contract must be sufficiently flexible to allow for such changes.
• The following specification is comprehensive but not exhaustive; omission does not imply the service is excluded from the contract.
• The tenderer must show a commitment to the continuing development of any supplier/purchaser relationship formed as a result of this tender process, and must demonstrate knowledge of, and pro-active approach to, the needs of the Consortia.
• The tenderer will be expected to work with LMH and LMH Groups to maximise the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the service it provides, and the goods it supplies. LMH and LMH Groups expect the successful tenderer to develop its services and supply provision in response to the needs of the customer.
• This tender does not guarantee a level of service use at any time as it is supplied as a reaction to a specific barrier that may exist for user group identified in this tender document.
