Description
The London boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton and Sutton adopted the South London Waste Plan (SLWP) in March 2012, covering the period 2011 to 2021. The SLWP is a development plan document (DPD) and is used in the determination of planning applications relating to waste facilities across the waste plan area.
The four partner boroughs intend to start work on a replacement SLWP in 2018-19, to help to deliver the new London Plan policies and de-risk the essential waste infrastructure required for south London. The new SWLP, anticipated to be adopted by 2021-22, will cover the geographical areas of the four partner boroughs of:

Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames
The four partner boroughs are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to prepare a ‘Waste Technical Study’ to support the preparation and adoption of a replacement South London Waste Plan.
