Description
The Authority is wishing to contract for the design and installation of a floating vegetated islands in Wapping Dock and Sefton Park Lake
The works will include all survey work required, production of design proposals and construction information, installation and establishment for two years. There is also a requirement to carry out or facilitate the ongoing monitoring required as part of the overall project. The Island in Wapping Dock is to be an iconic feature and a minimum size of 60m2. The island in Sefton park will be more low key with the main function to be to improve water quality. This should be between 10 - 20m2 and be designed to fit within local surroundings unobtrusively
