Invitation to Quote 2, 2016 – Tytherington High School

Vehicles with drivers are required to transport clients to and from Tytherington High School along the specified route (Whaley Bridge -> Kettleshulme -> Rainow -> Hurdsfield -> Buxton Road -> Tytherington School - Please see Maps 1 and 2).

Transport provision is to operate AM and PM Monday – Friday (school days), plus two return journeys on one evening per week at 16.30 to allow for pupils attending after school clubs. The operational day that will incorporate the evening journeys will be confirmed with the successful operator but for tendering purposes please assume a Wednesday and price accordingly.

The tendering has been allocated into 12 lots to allow for different specifications.

Lots 1-6 are for (Option 1) – Seat belts and CCTV NOT compulsory

Lots 1 - Pick up points 1-8 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 30).
Lots 2 - Pick up points 1-8 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 60).
Lots 3 - Pick up points 1-8 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 90).

Lots 4 – Pick up points 1-12 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 30).
Lots 5 – Pick up points 1-12 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 60).
Lots 6 – Pick up points 1-12 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 90).

Lots 7-12 are for (Option 2) – Quality enhancement Service - Seat belts and CCTV are compulsory

Lots 7 - Pick up points 1-8 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 30).
Lots 8 - Pick up points 1-8 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 60).
Lots 9 - Pick up points 1-8 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 90).

Lots 10 – Pick up points 1-12 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 30).
Lots 11 – Pick up points 1-12 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 60).
Lots 12 – Pick up points 1-12 then on to Tytherington High School (Capacities of 90).
Successful tenders are to operate under contract and in accordance with TSS terms & conditions and minimum standards which include the following assurances (A copy of the current terms and conditions will be available with the tender documentation on the CHEST website).

Transport Service Solutions Limited (TSS) is a wholly owned company of Cheshire East Council and assumes all rights, obligations and liabilities previously assumed by Cheshire East Borough Council Transport. TSS reserve the right not to award any of the listed lots.
