Description
The London Borough of Hackney is bringing forward housing development proposals for multiple sites as part of the Housing Supply Programme, which includes the De Beauvoir New Homes Project. This project will deliver new homes, non-residential uses and public realm improvements across De Beauvoir Estate. All sites are currently in pre-planning/active planning stages.
The existing De Beauvoir Estate consists of 870 homes built in the late 1960s, including five tower blocks ranging from 15 to 19 storeys. The regeneration project will bring forward up to 341 new homes (45% affordable including around 90 for social rent) on ten underused infill sites, along with significant enhancements to the public realm and routes around the estate.
The purpose of this engagement is to draw attention to a procurement that Hackney Council intends to commence within the next 3 - 6 months. The Competitive Flexible process for the PCSA Contract will be the subject of a separate notice and to which potential suppliers will need to respond at the appropriate time.

As part of the Preliminary Market Engagement Notice, the Council is holding a briefing and site visit on Thursday 12th June at 9:30am at The Halley, Reliance Wharf, 2 - 10 Hertford Road, N1 5ET. Our discussions will include, but not be limited to, the following subjects:

An overview presentation of the development opportunity

A walkabout of the estate and sites to be developed
