BCHC-18-0033 Insurance Brokerage

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) requires Insurance Brokerage Services via Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Insurance Services II Framework Agreement (RM3731).

Services are due to commence 10 December 2018, to maintain our existing insurance portfolio and renew our insurance, due annually on 1 April, as detailed below:

1. Engineering Inspections
2. Motor Comprehensive (Commercial Fleet and Lease Cars)

BCHC is seeking the following services from the successful broker:
• Insurance administration:
• Placement of insurance;
• Claims reporting and Claims Experience Data;
• Review meetings;
• Payment details;
• Management information requirements;
• Key performance indicators and their measurement;

BCHC will appoint one (1) broker from Lot 2 – Multi-Supplier Brokerage of the CCS Insurance Services II Framework Agreement (RM3731).

The successful broker must source all insurance quotations from Lot 1 – insurance of the CCS Insurance Services II Framework Agreement (RM3731) to meet the renewal deadline of 1 April 2019. A Broker’s ability to source from the whole market will not be evaluated.

BCHC will only accept bids from brokers who meet the following minimum requirements:
1. Appointed to Lot 2 - Multi-Supplier Brokerage of CCS Insurance Services II Framework Agreement (RM3731);
2. Can maintain and renew both Engineering Inspections and Motor Insurance cover;
3. Agrees to the CCS GPDR Variation to Clause 6 and Schedule 1 Authorised Processing Template. The Potential Provider must complete Schedule 1 in accordance with the preceding CCS GDPR variation.
