Healthwatch and Service User Engagement with Adult Care

Contract Name: Healthwatch and Service User Engagement with Adult Care contracts.

Wiltshire Council is seeking to commission new Healthwatch and Service User Engagement contracts.

Healthwatch:

Healthwatch Wiltshire is the independent consumer champion for health and social care in the county, it
• Represents the collective voice of patients, service users, carers and the public to commissioners, service providers and local politicians
• Acts as focal point for the local community to have a voice in commissioning and provision of health and social care.
• Provides opportunities for local people to influence decisions being made about their services, across the NHS and Social Care.

Service User Engagement

Provides Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Groups customers with a variety of opportunities to have input into adult care work for example, by consulting on specific adult care commissioning work

The Council is looking to award contracts for a 3 year period (with a possible extension of a further two years). This tender will follow the light touch procedure (PCR 2015 Regulation 75).

Commissioners are looking to hold a provider information day for the above opportunities. We invite you to come along to

This event will be held on 21st December 2017 from 9.30am -11.30am.

Please report to reception upon arrival.

There are good public transport links to Trowbridge, the railway station is approx. a 10 minute walk from County Hall, and visitor car parking is available on site.

Please register your attendance via Pro-contract by expressing an interest in this event. Providers who express interest are automatically invited. No confirmations of your acceptance will be sent. Please limit attendance to 2 people from each provider.
