<p>Tourism Ticketing Solution - For the period of 01/01/2023 to 31/12/2023 With a Further Option of Two One Year Extensions Sefton Council’s Tourism Section is responsible for arranging major events which includes the Southport Air Show and the British Musical Fireworks Championship (BMFC). These are hugely popular events that are well attended. Both events are hosted in Southport, Merseyside. The Tourism Department is also responsible for the Southport Market and a brand new venue which is due to launch/ open in April 2023. Both of these venues have and will have smaller ticketed events throughout the year. Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier who can provide a self-service platform to sell tickets will full reporting capabilities, onsite support, scanning solutions and equipment and account manager support. In 2022, the Southport Air Show sold 20,000 and the BMFC sold 18,000. The Southport Market and new venue for 2023 is stll unknown but a lot smaller events regularly throughout the year. Both of the major events events are outdoors with NUMEROUS gates. Scanners will be required to facilitate the customer entrance to the event and onsite support at the event, including staff training of the scanners. Both events require hour by hour scanned in numbers for event control. Suitable scanners or alternative provided by supplier (which can be subcontracted) would require as part of the ticketing solution and therefore zero cost to Sefton Council. Sefton Council will provide all scanning staff on the day of the events and the onsite box office solution. This ARFQ is based on a 100% quality scoring, we will take a minimum or 2 and maximum of 4 companies through to presentation. This can be conducted over Teams in needed. If you have been successful and are going to present to us please ensure that it is a live demo that is presented to us. The evaluation panel will be using the (0–5) scoring methodology to evaluate your presentation. Ticket breakdown for 2022 is detailed below, these ticket sales are not of course guaranteed but there is a multi channel marketing campaign which supports the promotion of both events. There is no overall capacity restriction for the general admission at the Air Show, apart from the Pier Tickets which is capped at 1000 per day. The capacity for the BMFC is 9,999 per evening, within this capacity both the general admission and seated tickets will need to be reduced from the overall ticket capacity.</p>
