Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced consultant to delivery projects to properties within the HRA and Corporate Portfolio, namely the External Wall Insulation and Associated Works Project (E.W.I) to non-traditional housing within Swindon Borough.

Project Description

The service required under this contract relates to the provision of a suitable candidate to successfully project manage various works to properties within the HRA and Corporate Portfolio, including and predominantly the External Wall Insulation Project (E.W.I).

There will also be a requirement to provide specifications for a range of improvement works and to produce tender documentation in line with Swindon Borough Council’s Standing Orders.

Other Information

The evaluation of tenders will be based on 70% total price and 30% quality.

Contract Period

The contract will be for an initial period of 18 months commencing 1st April 2016, with an option to extend by a further 18 months subject to satisfactory performance. This is a competitive tender and a contract will be awarded to the organisation that is deemed to represent the most economical and advantageous tender.

Responses are required to be submitted no later than 18th January 2016, 12.00GMT by hardcopy to the address as stated on the Tender Return Label only.

If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Lisa Bishop-Smith@swindon.gov.uk by 11th January 2015, 12.00 GMT.

The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
