Description
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is considering options for the future commissioning of adult advocacy services. As part of a wider engagement and consultation, we are inviting stakeholders to a market engagement workshop to shape and inform the service model and service specification for the provision of this service.
Space will be limited with allocation to 2 people per organisation; bookings can be made up until 21st June 2018 through Eventbrite:
We will be holding a workshop to engage with internal and external stakeholders on the Advocacy services in Southend.
The main aims of the workshop are:
• To map existing adult advocacy provision across Southend and how it is used
• Look at what is working well in Advocacy
• Explore gaps and opportunities to improve or develop the service
• For our Procurement team to present the process and proposed timeline for an Advocacy tender.
The outputs from the workshop will help us to refine our proposed service specification and help with signposting or referrals between existing providers to the most appropriate service for an individual’s needs.

If you are interested in attending please hold the afternoon of the 25thJune in your calendar and register your intention to attend on the Eventbrite link below:
