UID10252 Tameside Domestic Abuse Services - Market Engagement Event
Main contract details
Market engagement event on 17 May 2023, 1pm - 2.30pm
Venue: online via TEAMS
Please note that this is not a call for competition. This is an invitation to attend an online market engagement session undertaken by Tameside Council. The purpose of this market engagement is:
• to share the information that Tameside Council had collated so far from speaking with service users, undertaking public and professional surveys and exploring local and national best practice around the provision of specialist domestic abuse support services
• to outline a potential model of support for recommission of specialist domestic abuse services in Tameside
• for Tameside Council to understand what the market can offer and the challenges in procuring and setting up this service.
• To provide a high level overview of the tender process, timescales and social value
It is hoped that this will be an opportunity for us to obtain an insight of how participants might approach delivery of a domestic abuse service for Tameside, and how they might address circumstances that may impact on the service.
The session will include a presentation by the commissioners, STAR Procurement, and the Social Value Portal.
We anticipate that should a tender exercise be undertaken, the maximum annual value for the contract might be in the region of £1,061,041; and the duration to be 5 years with an option to extend for up to a total of 5 years subject to review and continuation of funding.
We are therefore seeking expressions of interest from participants with the relevant expertise and experience to assist us in determining the feasibility of this project.
Note that any contract awarded following any tender process will be subject solely to Tameside Council’s Terms and Conditions.
Estimated value: £5,305,225 (Years 1 to 5)
Contract start date: 1st April 2024
Contract end date: 31 March 2029
Option to extend: Yes (for up to a total of 5 years)
IMPORTANT: If you wish to attend this market engagement, please contact Lisa Morris, Strategic Domestic Abuse Manager by emailing lisa.morris@tameside.gov.uk so that the link to join can be forwarded to you.
A copy of the presentation will be published on The Chest portal after the event.
Thank you.
