<p>THE REQUIREMENT We wish to appoint a consultant, or consultants, to support our team of Business Information Officers. The Business Information Officers have been operating in the District Centres since 28th September 2020, funded through RHSSF and more recently through WBF, with support to be provided until March 2022. The activity is considered to have been very effective in local areas, allowing businesses to have access to a friendly face with business advisor experience and retail and hospitality expertise. We are now looking to fund additional resource to work alongside the team of Information Officers (duties detailed in Appendix 1). The person(s) will be expected to undertake the following key activities: &bull; Physically visit businesses identified by the Information Officers to review current marketing materials and social media usage, and support the implementation of actions discussed with the Information Officer; &bull; Assist in the roll out of social media support by getting them listed on Google Listings and, where relevant, sign up to their first social media account; &bull; Support the businesses to take their first steps into using the free-to-access digital platform Maybe* which has been recently procured and is funded through this project. &bull; Support and encourage businesses to operate in a COVID safe manner through the delivery of marketing collateral that promote Covid19 safety measures and guidance from Sheffield City Council. We are looking for a maximum of two individuals who can provide support for up to four days per week (maximum requirement overall) until 31st March 2022. A good understanding of high street businesses and their challenges is essential for this role alongside an excellent understanding of social media marketing for businesses, including the practical hands on experience of setting up social media accounts on all major platforms. The successful individual(s) will form part of the wider Business Sheffield team as well as being a core part of the WBF project delivery team &ndash; an overview is provided at Appendix 1 for information. Bidders should include only the daily rate when submitting proposals. It will not be possible to include additional management costs or arrangements into the responses. The average daily rate for this specification is expected to be in the region of &pound;175 per day.</p>
