Domestic Abuse Support Services in Gloucestershire - Market Engagement Event 10th November 2017

This is a Market Event, not a Procurement for

Domestic Abuse Support Services in Gloucestershire. This is an opportunity to hear about our approach to procuring for the delivery of domestic abuse services from Summer 2018 to Summer 2023.

Our current contract arrangements for the provision of specialist domestic abuse support services are due to end in July 2018 and we will be procuring new domestic abuse services for Gloucestershire. This event follows on from our Market Engagement Event in July 2017, when we discussed our developing commissioning approach.

We invite interested parties and organisations who have experience in delivering successful outcomes for victims of domestic abuse and their families and/or addressing perpetrator behaviour to attend this event where we will be sharing our future approach to procuring and delivering domestic abuse services and practical information to assist organisations in engaging with the tendering process.

Our future approach will include procuring specialist domestic abuse services through a five year multi-supplier Framework Agreement across a range of service areas summarised below. Further details about these service areas and the tendering process will be shared at the event.

• Direct support to victims of domestic abuse 16+ across all levels of risk

• Provision of places of safety, including target hardening and sanctuary measures

• Working with perpetrators of domestic abuse to challenge and address behaviour

• Delivering domestic abuse prevention and early intervention activities including a focus on teenage healthy relationships

• Early identification and workforce development activities

• Support for victims of stalking

The event is being held on Friday 10th November 2017, from 10.00 – 12.30hrs at Churchdown Community Association, Parton Road, Churchdown, Gloucester, GL3 2JH.
