<p>Fareham Live, formerly known as Ferneham Hall, is currently being remodelled to be relaunched as an exciting new Community Arts and Entertainment venue.</p>
<p>Following a long delay as a result of the COVID pandemic, the remodelling work has now recommenced with completion expected in late 2023, with a view to fully opening the new venue in Spring 2024.</p>
<p>The new Fareham Live is set to become a vibrant arts and entertainment venue in the heart of Fareham town centre. The Council is seeking to engage with potential Operators in order to provide details of its procurement plans and requirements and to seek the views and advice of the market on the planning, structure and conduct of the procurement.</p>
<p>The Council is investing £16.69 million into Fareham Live and it will have:</p>
<ul>
<li>A bigger main theatre with more comfortable seating for around 800 people</li>
<li>Improved stage and backstage areas and a fly tower to support high quality performances</li>
<li>A flexible smaller secondary performance space for up to 120 people to encourage a range of uses</li>
<li>A flexible studio space that can be used for a range of activities such as yoga, dance, exhibitions and conferences</li>
<li>A new interval space with bar and café area</li>
<li>Spaces for community groups and organisations to hire</li>
<li>Fully accessible Changing Places toilets and changing rooms, as well as an accessible lift to the first floor.</li>

<p>Due to the withdrawal of its selected operator, the Council is undertaking some preliminary market consultation with prospective operators in order to provide details of its procurement plans and requirements and to seek the views and advice of the market on the planning, structure and conduct of the procurement.</p>
