Description
North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) currently have an Approved Provider List (APL) in place for Grant Funded Consultancy Support for the Voluntary and Community Sector.
The APL covers 12 specialist lot areas, and as part of the package of support available from the Stronger Communities Programme, funding is available (approximately up to £15,000) to support voluntary and community groups who enable and deliver key Programme outcomes. The APL will expire on 31 March 2020 and NYCC have now commenced a procurement process to ensure a new arrangement is in place from 1 April 2020.
Stronger Communities is NYCC’s programme to support and invest in social action through strengthening voluntary and community organisations, developing local services and encouraging the communities of North Yorkshire to help themselves. Our aim is to encourage communities to work with us, identifying local solutions and actions in order for all communities in North Yorkshire to have greater collective control of their own wellbeing. NYCC are seeking the views of providers on the future procurement arrangement, how we can ensure that arrangement meets common market practices and preferences, and improve on the existing APL that will expire next year.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept strictly private and confidential and will only be used to inform the procurement and approach NYCC should take.
