Description
Ashford Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitable* contractors to provide cavity and loft insulation to its housing stock (*suitable contractors must be/have National Insulation Association (NIA) registered installers, their work independently guaranteed by the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) and preferably hold ISO14001 certification).

A budget of £50,000 has been allocated per year for three years however there is no fixed programme, nor is there any guarantee as to the level of work that will be awarded. Areas of need are usually identified as a result of other work that are taking place within the Borough.

The work will be contracted on a schedule of rates basis, based on a number of standard dwelling types for either type of insulation.

Term:
We wish to seek quotations and appoint a preferred supplier for an initial period of 1 year from 2nd September 2019 until 31st March 2020, with an option of extending the initial agreement, twice, each time by a further 12 months.

You are therefore invited to quote for future business, using the specification attached. Your bid will be evaluated on the following;

Tender Evaluation:
75% Price - Quotation Form attached
25% Quality - Provision of supporting documentation or information which would assure us of the quality of your service.

Contract Award:
The company who submits the most economically advantageous tender.
