Budget

Maximum budget of £24,000.00 excluding delivery.

MODEL

Tracked 360 degree Midi excavator between 5.5 ton and 8 ton weight class

Attachments required

Digging buckets and grading buckets to suit ( please state number and type of bucket that will be supplied with the machine in your response)

Options to be fitted

• Flashing warning beacon
•front auxillary hydraulics, double & single acting
• Manual or hydraulic quickhitch for bucket attachment

Options ideally present on the excavator ( please state if fitted, or could be fitted and any extra costs lisited seperately in your response)

• JCB 3cx sized hitch for attachments, or prepared to fit cross over hitch, as we already have some attachments for another machine.
• 2 x front auxiliary hydraulics, double & single acting as we may require to fit our tilt rotator from our existing machine.
• 45mm bucket pins

Maximum Hours

Ideally to be no more than 3500 hrs shown on the hour Clock

Year off Manufacture

Preferablely no older than 2012, although depending on condition and hours, older machines may be considered.

STANDARD COMPLIANCE

The total package must comply with all current EU and CE Standards and Regulations.

MANUALS

Owner’s manual, Parts and a full workshop manuals must be supplied at the time of delivery specific to the vehicle supplied.



SERVICING AND WARRANTY

• Full details to be provided on any warranty servicing
•Full details of Items not covered within any warranty
• Full details to be provided on parts availability, including lead in times.
• Average service intervals and costs to be provided


SUPPLY ARRANGEMENTS
The Supplier agrees to supply the and/or perform the Services in
Accordance with any specifications, or description provided or referenced in any quotation.

The Supplier must not supply alternative products to the Goods without Northamptonshire County Councils prior written approval.

Northamptonshire County Council may, on notice to the Supplier, change the
Specifications and/or standards applicable to the Goods and/or Services to be supplied

The respective periods stipulated for delivery of the Goods and Services are deemed to be of the essence of the Contract.

DELIVERY

The Price is inclusive of the costs of delivery of the Goods and/or Services by the Supplier to the Delivery Point, including any packing necessary for the safe, proper and suitable transport and storage.

The Goods must be delivered in good condition and without damage caused by delivery. The Supplier must immediately replace any damaged Goods, at no additional cost.

No deliveries effected outside the normal working hours of Northamptonshire County Councils Country parks will be accepted unless by prior arrangement.
Unless otherwise agreed, offloading will be carried out by the supplier

VIEWING, INSPECTION AND TESTING (Used Excavator)

Northamptonshire County Council or its designated agent may inspect, test drive the proposed vehicle by means of an on-site demonstration for an agreed duration, which must be made clear in the Quotation. The test period must be sufficient to make a good evaluation of the condition of the Excavator.


Warranty
(a) the accuracy and correctness of all performance data, measurements, specifications and details quoted in catalogues, brochures, descriptive literature, quotations, offers or Quotations subject to the tolerances specified in those documents;


(a) be of good quality suitable for their respective purposes;
(b) be free from all defects;
(c) be of the current manufacture and highest grade;
(d) be delivered in a timely manner;
(e) comply with the specifications and warranties as provided;
(f) comply with EU Standards and the law;
(g) where not manufactured by the Supplier, meet the current specifications of the manufacturer of the relevant Good; and be new unless otherwise agreed with Northamptonshire County Council.

The Supplier warrants that any Services provided under the Contract will:

(a) be performed by qualified and appropriately trained personnel;
(b) be performed with due care and skill;
(c) be fit for the purposes for which those types of services are commonly bought and any other purposes which the Council tells the Supplier about;
(d) comply with EU Standards and the law; and
(e) comply with the specifications and warranties, as provided.

Without limiting any other term or Warranty under the Contract, the Supplier warrants that all Goods and/or Services that it supplies will perform their function, without fault, during the Supplier’s warranty period or 12 months, whichever is longer.

Where a defect in the Goods or Services supplied under the Contract
occurs within 12 months of the Goods or Services having been accepted by the Northamptonshire County Council, or within the Supplier’s warranty period, whichever is the longer, the Supplier will, when called upon to do so by Northamptonshire County Council, at the Supplier’s cost and with all due diligence, replace at the Delivery Point the defective or damaged Goods or Services with Goods or Services complying with the requirements of the Contract, or otherwise make good the damage or defect if convenient to Northamptonshire County Council , to comply with the Contract.
