Wichelstowe Landscaping – Gateway Phase 1
Swindon Borough Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of landscaping and footpath works at Wichelstowe.

Project Description
The works comprise upgrades to existing footways, new footways, stepped connections and area of planting including trees and aquatic planting. The area is ecologically sensitive and the successful contractor will be required to work with the sites ecologist to coordinate works.

Wichelstowe is an active construction site and the contractor will need to liaise with the master developer and adjoining developers to maintain a safe and efficient site.

It is anticipated that the value of the works will be in excess of £200k with the works commencing in November 2018.

Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.
To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com

Responses are required to be submitted no later than Monday 29th October 2018, 1200 noon UK Local time to the address provided in the
Invitation to Tender.

Tender clarifications are to be submitted in writing via Messaging in the ProContract tender portal, including the project reference and title clearly in the Subject title.

The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.

Please note that this project has been advertised on Contracts Finder/ other web portals, however, Supplying the South West Portal, https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/ is the only portal that includes all the relevant documents required to respond to this opportunity, bearing Project Id: DN359103.

No Tender submissions will be considered without completing the documentation in full including attachments and returning them in alignment with the instructions within the tender documents.
