Description
The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking bids from suitably experienced organisations to deliver a women’s domestic violence recovery and empowerment programme to support Sutton residents who have experienced domestic violence. The service will be delivered within the London Borough of Sutton.

The contract will initially be for a period of one (1) year commencing on the 1st of September 2017 with an option to extend for a further four (4) years in twelve (12) monthly intervals.

There is a maximum budget of £35,000 for the first year of this contract.

The successful bidder will deliver a core activity of group work programmes, including pre-and post assessments to assist in achieving a reduction in repeat victimisation and to empower survivors to:

• Be able to identify abusive behaviour in future
• Gain self esteem and confidence to improve their wellbeing
• Understand the impact of domestic abuse on children
• Build safe, happy, healthy and productive lives in the long term
This programme will contribute to Sutton’s Coordinated Community Response (CCR) to domestic violence, and the successful bidder will be expected to work constructively with other partners.

The Council is tendering this quotation through the London Tenders e-tendering portal, our preferred method of advertising and managing contract opportunities.

Sutton Council currently contracts a diverse group of voluntary, statutory and private sector providers and encourages a range of organisations, regardless of size, to apply for this provision.

The Council shall not be bound to accept the lowest cost or any quotation. The award of contract shall be based on the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) quotation submitted, and bidders will be expected to demonstrate how they will provide optimum value for money.

Deadline for submission of a completed bid/quotation is the 14th of July at 2.00pm.
