Description
The purpose of this Re-opening (Tender) process is to identify additional successful training organisations who will be selected for a place on the Standing List of Safeguarding Children Training Providers.

Only those Applicants who meet the Authorities minimum requirements, by passing all of the Pass/Fail criteria and achieving an Award score of fifty percent (50%) or more, will be placed on the Standing List.

This Standing List of Training Providers of Safeguarding Children Training is being re-opened to enable new Providers to apply to join the list. New Applicants will have to follow the same Tender process in order to be selected for a place on this Standing List. There is no limit to the number of training organisations that will be selected to join the List. The awarded organisations must be approved Torbay Safeguarding Children Board (TSCB) trainers. These trainers will be listed on the TSCB website as approved trainers and will then be included in each individual Call-Off/Further Competition for provision of future safeguarding children training courses.

The Standing List of approved Safeguarding Children Training Providers provides no guarantee of any work to the Provider. The Standing List will contain only a list of Providers who are pre-qualified to be included in each individual Call-Off/Further Competition for provision of future Safeguarding Children Training courses, as and when the need arises. The individual training requirements will be specified within each Call-Off process to all successful Applicants and will be Evaluated by Award Criteria based on Quality and Price.

The Standing List will be opened every six months to enable new Providers to apply to join the list. New Applicants will have to follow the same Tender process in order to be selected for a place on the Standing List.

Places onto the Standing List of Training Providers of Safeguarding Children Training were originally awarded in February 2015.
