Bournemouth Borough Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the refurbishment of the spa facilities at Littledown leisure centre Bournemouth.

The contract is due to start in June 2016, with the submission of the final detailed design by 16/06/2016. Construction is July and August 2016. Work needs to be completed and handed over by 01/09/2016.

The main requirements are as follows: To remove and dispose of the 2 existing spa baths, removal one of the existing sauna and adjacent steam room and replace with enlarged sauna with DDA compliant door. Remove one of the sanarium’s and replace with new lower temperature sauna with DDA compliant door. Removal of existing showers and replace with minimum of 6 showers. Refurbish existing DDA accessible steam room. Install new drainage to showers, wall & floor tiling & new replacement plant room doors and doors from pool hall to spa area, (all are fire doors) and redecorate all surfaces throughout.
