Description
States Works Trading Assets Waste Management Section requires a 4 x 4 wheeled loader. It is anticipated it will be approximately 10 tonnes in weight.
It will be used to handle inert material on a land reclamation site.
In the summer months it will operate on hard ground. In the winter months it must be able to operate efficiently, safely and reliably in muddy conditions up to 300 mm deep.
The site is exposed to wind and salt air. Exposed components and electrical items must be able to cope with these conditions.

Quotation prices should be based on the purchase of a single vehicle.

Vendors are strongly advised to read the conditions of purchase and specification thoroughly to ensure the item proposed and price quoted complies with all documentation. A pro-forma tender return indicating the parameters of the equipment proposed must be submitted with your tender, including the retail price and appropriate discount for the basket of spares requested.

Vendors will be reviewed on quality, whole life cost, carbon emissions, fuel economy and efficiency of service basis so it would assist the reviewer if as much detail as possible could be provided. Efficiency of service is important given the need to reset components on renewal and when the machine is maintained. It must be readily available when needed.

Quote should show on-site commissioning and training. This is especially required on this vehicle as it is a new type of machine for us. This may affect the time you allow for training.

Quote should include 1st registration cost on Guernsey and delivery to site registered and ready for service.

Quotes that show options for Contract Servicing or an Operating Lease Agreement based on hours/time will be considered.

Guaranteed buy back projections (If this machine is supplied with a service contract) regardless of future supply arrangements are welcome.
